Welcome to STMUN XVI!

This is the sixteenth annual session of STMUN hosted by I-Shou International School (IIS), and co-hosted by Kaohsiung American School (KAS). This year, the theme of "Waving the Flag of Justice: The Forefront to an Era of Progression" aims to solve humanitarian crises, ongoing conflicts, and its exploitation of minority groups, when the world has been torn between the spectrum of just and unjust. With the prevailing issues continuously spreading all across our globe, it is crucial for an era of progression to be brought and for justice to be seen navigating through issues. An era of progression defines the advancement of technology, diplomatic relationships, measures to combat crises, but also the start to a society where justice can be seen and enforced.

 

STMUN aims to stimulate critical thinking, and provides the opportunity for debaters to view global issues from a variety of perspectives. The STMUN community is fulfilled with supportive members, allowing each and every attendee to return with a new extend of open-mindedness for this complex global community.
