Advisory Panel (APQ)
President: Kitty Tseng (HCAS)
Yes, experts: the “delegates” of APQ, and hopefully the true experts of your countries this December! My name is Kitty Tseng, a junior at Hsinchu County American School, and it is my utmost honor to serve as the Head President for the Advisory Panel at STMUN XII. I first embarked on my MUN journey as an excited but confused eighth grader, just beginning to unknot the intricate web of procedures and debate. Since then, I have chaired nine conferences, growing to cherish the new opportunities MUN brings to the table— mastering the art of lobbying, viewing global issues through international lenses, meeting people from all around the world, and most importantly, having lots and lots of fun!
As an adept procrastinator, I bear a limitless arsenal of hobbies under by belt. I enjoy binge-watching television series, babysitting toddlers, and brunching with friends. I also claim to be an expert "foodie"-- constantly surfing through Instagram posts of food, searching for good places to eat, and using photography as an excuse to feed myself 24/7!
I'm at your disposal for any questions you may have or doubts you may need resolved; if you're looking for memories worth remembering and friends worth keeping, I’ll see you in the Advisory Panel!
Deputy President: Solomon Lin (IIS)
Dear delegates, my name is Solomon Lin and I am currently a Senior studying in I-Shou international school. It is my utmost pleasure to welcome you as your APQ Co-chair in this year’s STMUN conference alongside Kitty Tseng. I started my MUN career as a delegate back in eighth grade and this activity has been a part of my life ever since. I believe MUN has always fascinated me with the constructive debate and the elegant conference procedure forcing me to watch news and understand what is happening around the world. Since I hold very high expectations for all my delegates, I hope all of you come prepared, and don’t be afraid to come to your chairs for help on research or document-drafting. Can’t wait to see you guys in December !
