Keynote Speaker: Prof. Mab Huang
Introducing our guest speaker for STMUN XVI, Professor Mab Huang!
Obtaining his PhD degree from the National Taiwan University School of Law, his Master degree from the University of Chicago School of International Relations, and his Doctor degree from the University of Columbia School of Political Science, Professor Mab has been an influential figure in the field of human rights internationally. Not only has he been enrolled in studies abroad, Professor Mab has also been involved in several government associated human rights meetings, serving as one of the Human Rights Consultant of the National Human Rights Commission Taiwan, and served as a member in the Presidential Office Human Rights Consultative Committee of Taiwan. As one of the professors at Soochow University’s Department of Political Science, Professor Mab’s studies range from Western political philosophy to the promotion and protection of international human rights, while publishing numerous journals on said topic, resonating with the theme of STMUN this year. His efforts in protecting human rights have been significant in the international community, and thrive to create a better future with adequate human rights globally.
