Keynote Speaker: Wang Hao (汪浩)

Wang Hao is a British citizen born in Shanghai, China. He is an intellectual writer, amateur historian, and former investment banker. He graduated from the Law Department of Peking University and obtained a PhD in International Relations from St. Anthony's College, Oxford University. After graduation, he worked as an investment banker in Hong Kong but he currently lives in Taipei. His research mainly focuses on Sino-US relations, Taiwan-UK relations, cross-strait relations, the withdrawal of the Republic of China from the United Nations, etc. He authored the book The Unexpected Founding Father: Chiang Kai-shek, Chiang Ching-kuo, Lee Teng-hui, and Modern Taiwan which won the 2018 Taipei International Book Fair's non-fiction "Book Fair Award".
