Dr Jacek Latkowski currently holds the post Vice Principal at the British School Warsaw, Poland. He has been teaching for 36 years at university, college and secondary school levels. After six years of teaching in Canada, he decided to travel to Europe by accepting a post at an international school in Munich, Germany. This marked the beginning of international education and his involvement with the IB programme, teaching IB Physics, Mathematics and TOK for the past 25 years. Dr Latkowski also had an opportunity of teaching physics and mathematics at Oxford and Cambridge Universities as well as MIT, and he continues conducting academic research in thermodynamics when time permits. Dr Latkowski has been an IB inspector, examiner and workshop leader and I has written a Pre-IB Mathematics book. For many years, Dr Latkowski has organized MUN programme at the British School Warsaw and initiated the tradition of annual MUN conferences at the school. His passion of film, history and ….cats almost matches his love of physics and mathematics.
