International Criminal Police Organization
President
Sarina Tsai
Greetings, delegates! My name is Sarina Tsai, a junior at Asia American International Academy, and it is with great pleasure that I serve as your President in the International Criminal Police Organization. STMUN XVI will be my seventeenth conference and fifth time chairing. I began my MUN journey in 7th grade, starting as a baffled student who was intimidated by the powerful speakers in my committee. Fortunately, with the help of my chairs and fellow peers, I overcame the obstacles I faced, ending my first conference with a newly-founded eagerness to continue my MUN journey. I encouraged myself to speak more with each passing conference and soon began to enjoy the intense crossfires, forming alliances with delegations and bringing about a sense of unity. I have since expanded my knowledge regarding global issues, founded a love for public speaking, and created several long-lasting friendships. Aside from MUN, I enjoy singing, dancing, and reading. MUN has fueled my passion for debate and left a profound impact on my life, and I hope to spread my love for MUN to you all. See you in STMUN XVI!
Deputy President
Evelyn Ku
Hi, I’m Evelyn and I’m honored to serve as the Deputy President for INTERPOL for STMUN XVI! I’m a sophomore at Taipei American School and have been participating in MUN for 3 years. Over the years, I have served as a delegate at many conferences, and have also had the honor of serving as a deputy chair before, and I am excited to continue chairing at this conference, where I will be able to meet and collaborate with more people. MUN has been extremely rewarding, as by participating in MUN for these years, I have been able to grow as a leader and effective communicator. In STMUN XVI, I will be serving as the expert chair of Issue 1401: Efforts for combatant towards global financial crime. As we delve into this issue, I hope to see collaboration and innovation as we find different solutions to tackle this issue. I believe that each of you will bring unique perspectives and ideas that are crucial for our discussions at the conference. I look forward to collaborating with all of you on your research for this issue and the development of strong resolutions, so feel free to reach out to me with any questions or for assistance!
