United Nations Children's Fund (MS)
President
Gordon Hung
Greetings! I am Gordon Hung, a junior at Hsinchu County American School, and I am honored to be your President for UNICEF this coming December. Three years ago, I began a new chapter in my life by stepping into Model United Nations. Through MUN, I have expanded my horizons and sharpened my public speaking, research, and writing skills. Moreover, I have transformed from a young, uninformed child into a passionate individual who fights to make a change. Having grown as a delegate, it is now my turn to serve other delegates as the chair and help them grow into more successful individuals. Besides MUN, I’m a passionate tennis player who enjoys every match I play. Furthermore, I love reading books and hanging out with friends during my spare time. I’m excited to meet all of you this coming December and work together to formulate great solutions! Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions; I’m always happy to help.
Deputy President
Olivia Chang
Hello STMUN XVI delegates! I am Olivia Chang, an eight grader at I-Shou International School, and I am beyond thrilled and grateful to serve as your Deputy President for the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund. I have started participating in MUN since seventh grade, and STMUN XVI marks my fifth MUN conference and first time chairing. At first, I found the debates tedious and boing. Shortly after my first couple of conferences, I quickly became fond of the heated debate, making friends, the environment, and the new insights on global conflicts. Even though it is my first time chairing, I will make the conference a comforting and unforgettable experience for both new and experienced delegates! Besides from my interest in MUN, I enjoying engaging in arts, exploring new places, playing the piano, scrolling on instagram, and participating in robotics. Each of these activities allows me to express my creativity, satisfy my curiosity, and develop new skills. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns. I truly cannot wait to meet all of you! I look forward to seeing you soon in December!
